Welcome. My name is Julie and I decided to set up this blog after experiencing an extreme overload of creative ideas to make life a little easier and more economical. I have have always worked and have raised my kids on my own — sometimes very trying, but with a good balance, both jobs are incredibly rewarding. I am always on the lookout for fresh ideas to simplify life and have made a lot of stuff up along the way. Besides work and motherhood I try to pursue a balanced combination of all of my hobbies – crafts, photography, scrapbooking, genealogy, sewing and quilting, and cooking.
